I started in the insurance industry right out of college and was thrilled to be offered the opportunity to come back home to Gaston County to open my own insurance agency! I was born in Gaston County and grew up in the Carolinas before moving to Florida and attending Florida State University. While attending Florida State University, I had the opportunity to be a collegiate athlete and run cross country and track. I learned so many valuable lessons about the importance of hard work and discipline while being a collegiate athlete. These are values that I have brought into my agency. Growing up, my parents instilled the importance of financial preparedness in me. This is something that has stuck with me into my adulthood. It is so incredibly important to me to educate and protect the community of Mount Holly and surrounding areas from financial crises. No one should ever have to worry about financial matters while in crisis. This is why my agency is not only a place to keep your insurance, but a place you can come to learn about how to protect yourself financially.

I have always lived in small, close-knit communities and know the importance of supporting the community and locally owned businesses. I cannot express how thrilled I am to be back in Gaston County and living in Mount Holly. Mount Holly is such a sweet town with all the benefits of living in a small southern town, but with the perks of being near the big city of Charlotte.

· I made the ACC academic Honor Roll.

· While I attended Florida State University, I am a Clemson Fan at heart.

· I have a Doberman named Layla

· I grew up riding and showing horses, specifically in hunter jumpers and was very involved in 4H.

· I absolutely love being on the water and spend many weekends on the Catawba River.
